The cacao in this recipe remains raw. The soy-based whipped topping is the only non-raw part of this recipe, which could be easily omitted. The raw cacao pudding/filling is a simple and yummy recipe that is a perfect alternative to traditional chocolate pudding--great for kids!

Raw Pie Crust:
2 cups raw nuts (any combination of almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
1 cup pitted Medjool dates
Lightly oil an 8- or 9-inch pie pan or spingform pan. Place nuts and dates in a food processor and grind until thoroughly combined. Press into oiled pan.
Raw Chocolate Pudding (Raw Chocolate Pie Filling):
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons coconut butter
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Fill pie shell or eat as pudding.
Top pie with Soyatoo! Whippable Soy Topping or Mimicream Healthy Top non-dairy, non-soy whipping cream (follow package directions).
Chill pie in fridge for a few hours if you can! It does taste much better chilled.
