There were some pretty big losses this time. Last challenge the average was around 2 lbs, but this time the average is -3.3 lbs. That really is significantly higher for just one week. I do want to remind everyone that we're all different, and we all lose weight differently. So many factors go into this in addition to diet: exercise, water consumption, stress, and even how late you eat. Not to mention just our crazy bodies and differences in the ability to lose weight.
I am happy to report overall satisfaction with everyone. It seems like most of you were well prepared for the challenge, which helps. Several of you had busy weeks in addition to this, which seems the norm anymore. Just remember we can't let that be an excuse for not eating healthfully and taking care of ourselves. You have to make time for you and take charge of your own health because no one else will.
Planning in advance and having healthy options on hand is key. It's just as easy to buy a bag of apples as it is to buy a bag of chips. It's even easier to grab an apple and snack on that instead of chips or crackers. And you will feel better and have more energy afterward. Set yourself up for success and buy plenty of fruits and veggies you enjoy. Aim to try new ones you've never tried.
If you thoroughly enjoyed this experience and felt better, by all means keep going. I've heard you really need 21 days to get the full experience and full benefits. If you make this and your health a priority, it will not be a hassle. It will be rewarding and fun to see the positive changes in your body and mind.
Thanks again to everyone, and maybe you will join me for future "challenges!"
