I am very happy with all of the results, and I hope all of the participants are, as well. 1 to 2 pounds of loss per week is a very healthy loss. Of course these results depend on each person, how they ate over the week, and the amount of exercise they put in. Please just be happy that you tried something new, something many people are not ready to do.
Some participants reported this was easier than they expected, and others said it was more difficult than they expected. Know that this does get easier the longer you do it, and the weight loss usually does get better. Many times after you start following a vegan diet, you are constantly making healthy changes and your weight reflects this.
I was also thrilled to hear that the majority of the participants reported feeling better physically during this week and even had more energy. Following that, I was even more thrilled to hear that many of the participants will be incorporating more vegan foods and meals into their diets if not remaining vegan!
I just want to thank all who participated in this first round. I am very proud of everyone because you all completed the challenge with no problems. I really look forward to doing this again in the near future.
